On March 6, 2025, Ghana celebrated its 68th Independence Day and Ga South Municipal Assembly organized a parade at the Ngleshie Amanfro Cluster of Schools Park for the celebration. The event was attended by around 160 dignitaries, including municipal officials, traditional leaders, security personnel, and civil society representatives.

The celebration featured participation from thirty-three schools, including three Senior High Schools, fifteen Junior High Schools, and fifteen Primary Schools. Over 1,200 pupils took part in the parade, showcasing cadets, girls' clubs, and performing bands.

The schools were evaluated on their discipline, presentation, arm movements, and alignment during the parade. Certificates of participation were awarded to all, while trophies were presented to the top three schools in each category. This event highlighted the spirit of unity and patriotism among Ghana's youth and communities.
