Presentation of tools and items to master and apprentices craftperson
On March 3rd, 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive of Ga South Municipality addressed master craftspersons
and apprentices at a ceremony for the presentation of tools and items under the National Apprenticeship Programme.

SECURITY AGENCIES STEP UP FESTIVE PATROLS IN GA SOUTH
Security agencies in the Ga South Municipality have intensified patrols and public education to ensure safety before, during, and after the Christmas festivities.
Briefing the General Assembly, officials said the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Immigration Service are working closely to enhance security across the municipality.
Patrols will be intensified around malls, beaches, markets, and other strategic locations to monitor activities and gather intelligence.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey, through the Environmental Health Unit,
invited all departments of the Assembly to participate in a clean-up exercise at Tuba Junction.
The exercise, which commenced at 7:00 a.m. and ended at 12:00 noon, brought together key departments,
including the Municipal Environmental Health Office (MEHO), NADMO, Works Department, Records Department,
and Stores Department. Each department played an active role in the exercise.

The 39th farmers day celebration took place at the Ga south Municipal Assembly on the 8th of November, 2024. The event highlighted the pivotal role farmers play to the development of the country at large. On Wednesday, the 20th of November, The business regulation reform unit from the ministry of trade and industry paid a working visit to all MMDAs in the Greater Accra region as part of its coordination of a comprehensive reforms in the administration of building/Development permits in Ghana. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH UNIT EDUCATES PUBLIC ON CHOLERA PREVENTION MEASURES
In response to the rising threat of cholera in some communities, the Environmental Health Unit initiated a public sensitization campaign which was aimed at equipping residents with essential knowledge and practices to prevent the spread of the disease. SERVICE DELIVERY STANDARDS IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE
The human resource department organized a training to educate selected staff on public service ethics and values within the Local Government Service. The training focused on service delivery standards in the Local Government Service. In attendance were staff from the Development Planning Unit, Budget Unit, MIS Unit and Social Welfare and Community Development and some selected staff from other department. The training was facilitated by the Human Resource Department of Ga South Municipal Assembly.
