A staff durbar was successfully held on Thursday, 5th June 2025, at the forecourt of the Assembly. The event, organized by the Human Resource Department, brought together staff from all departments and units of the Assembly for an engaging and productive session.
The durbar was graced by Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and Mrs. Eugenia Akporhor Agbenyegah the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), both of whom addressed the gathering. In her opening remarks, the Human Resource Manager welcomed staff and outlined the purpose of the durbar — to foster open communication, strengthen team cohesion, and address staff concerns.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) commended staff for their continued dedication and emphasized the Assembly's commitment to improving working conditions and staff welfare. He urged all staff to uphold professionalism and work collaboratively towards achieving the Assembly’s development goals. The Municipal Chief Executive (MCD) also took the opportunity to brief staff on key administrative updates and encouraged improved interdepartmental communication.
Several issues were raised during the Open Forum session, including matters related to logistics, promotions, capacity-building opportunities, and general welfare. These concerns were duly noted for further administrative action. The durbar ended on a positive note with renewed commitment from management and staff to work together in achieving the Assembly’s objectives.
