The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey, through the Environmental Health Unit, invited all departments of the Assembly to participate in a clean-up exercise at Tuba Junction.
The exercise, which commenced at 7:00 a.m. and ended at 12:00 noon, brought together key departments, including the Municipal Environmental Health Office (MEHO), NADMO, Works Department, Records Department, and Stores Department. Each department played an active role in the exercise.
Also present were all Assembly Members, who actively participated in the clean-up, alongside toll booth sellers who contributed their efforts to the exercise.

During the clean-up, Hon. Ocansey engaged with the media and called on residents of the municipality to join hands in keeping Ga South clean. He emphasized that every first Saturday of the month should be observed as a communal clean-up day, in line with the declaration by H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

The MCE further noted that Ga South must always remain clean since it serves as the gateway to Accra from the Central Region. The exercise was described as successful, with the next phase scheduled for next week Friday 26th September, 2025.
