Participants from the First and Second Cycle institutions in the Ga South Municipality converged at the Ngleshie Amanfro Cluster of Schools in commemoration of the 63rd Independence day celebration themed “Consolidating Our Gains”

There ceremony was graced by Nineteen (19) Contingents consisting of Six Hundred and Eight (608) students, Two (2) Bands with (44) Forty-Four Members, On Girls’ club with (32) Thirty-Two girls and a voluntary organization.

In his speech, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Nyarni stated that the Assembly has instituted some social interventions to improve educational and health standards in the Municipality. He ended his address by imploring parents to take the education of their wards seriously.

Mr. Henry Ayetse, the Municipal Education Director lauded the Government for the tremendous improvement chalked in the Educational sector and further charged parents to provide the basic educational needs of their wards to enable them take their studies seriously.

The colourful ceremony was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Nyarni Stephen, The Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Baisie, Chiefs and Queen mothers in the Municipality, and Heads of Departments.
