Municipal and District Assemblies are mandated by the constitution to account for their stewardship and the management of the public resources that have been entrusted into their care by the people.
In view of this, the Ga South Municipal Assembly organized two Town Hall Meetings on the 10th and 11th June, 2019 at Ngleshie Amanfro and Domeabra respectively to interact with the various segments of society and also create a platform for them to ask questions on development issues and utilization of Assembly resources to better their lives
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Nyarni Stephen in his speech highlighted on the incredible achievements the Ga South Municipal Assembly has made since its inception over a year ago.
He presented to the people the highlights of programmes, projects and activities as well as policy decisions that the Assembly was implementing for sustainable development through a broader and effective consensus building with the public.
There were presentations by various Heads of Departments of the Assembly on administration, revenue mobilization, health, sanitation, financial accountability, infrastructure, and Agriculture.
Hon. Joseph Nyarni Stephen called on all stakeholders to support the Assembly in order to fulfil its set development agenda.
